Player One or Single Player:

  • Your paddle is on the left hand side
  • W = move paddle up
  • S = move paddle down

Player Two (two player setting only):

  • Your paddle is on the right hand side
  • Up Arrow = move paddle up
  • Down Arrow = move paddle down

Features:

  • Two game modes
    • The default is SPEED UP mode where ball is constant speed
    • NORMAL is where the ball increases speed each time it hits a paddle until someone wins a point, at which time the speed resets - the longer the rally, the faster the ball!
  • Choose how many points you need to get to finish the game - options from 1 to 20
  • Single Player Option for both game modes - you play against and AI (this is the default currently, there is also a two-player local multiplayer option)
  • All audio (music and sound effects) made by ME in LogicProX, using Logic's sound libraries and the Spitfire Masse library with Kontakt as well as an audio recording.
  • Variable volume settings for music and sound effects

I'm really proud of how polished this game feels compared to other games I've made, as well as how many features I managed to put in and how quickly I worked. I look forward to attempting think of a project for my next assignment that will push me even further towards being a better developer with more skills. Sometimes I struggle to focus and I procrastinate a lot, but for this project, I had not problems with that and it makes me really happy.

I hope you like my version of Pong almost as much as I am proud of it.
